Our Core Mission: Promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

The team at Equity Over Everything is committed to enhancing their local and regional communities, with their efforts reverberating across organizations and communities on a national scale. Throughout this series, we’ll offer you a sneak peek into how we fulfill our mission.

Our Partnership with Lenoir-Rhyne University

The Lenoir-Rhyne Equity and Diversity Institute (LREDI) supports, inspires, and equips executives, non-profit leaders, educators, students, social activists and other community members who intend to spark change and cultivate better communities through their professional careers.

LREDI concentrations and courses focus on equitable strategies and practices that can be applied to the professional fields of business, education, and technology, as well as to general community advocacy.

Classes can be taken as stand-alone courses or as a suite to yield an Equitable Leadership Certificate. Continuing education credits can also be obtained from the following professional organizations:

Society for Human Resources Management
3.5 hours per course for human resources directors and other human resources professionals.

North Carolina State Bar
3.5 hours per course to attorneys licensed in North Carolina.

Northwest AHEC
3.5 hours per course to medical professionals affiliated with Northwest AHEC and the Wake Forest School of Medicine.
