About Juneteenth AVL
The Juneteenth Celebration is the oldest known holiday that celebrates the ending of slavery in the United States. This year, our celebration emphasizes obtaining equity as a pivotal next step in securing the future of African Americans. The Martin Luther King Association, along with its partners, will provide educational outreach pertaining to social equity, homeownership, and entrepreneurship.
